Past Saturday, Jan Motmans won the Flanders Derby with Dublin van Overis Z in Lummen!
It was a profitable day for this team! In the first round they had one fault but because no one else did it clear there was a jump off between Jan en Dublin, Johnny Pals (who won last year) and Jeroen Appelen (who became third last year). Jan was first to go in and did it clear and in a fast time. Jeroen was faster but had one fault, and Johnny was just a bit slower.
All emotions were shown after this victory by friends and family because this derby is a memorial for Nick Motmans, brother of Jan, who died 3 years ago. Jan couldn't wish for a better victory!
A special victory for the loved Nick Motmans!
